If that wasn't exciting enough, and if that didn't get us enough
Our school is lucky enough to be located right across from a beautiful lake. (We have the best view!!!)
So, we walked across the street to have a picnic by lake, then to the community center to see our artwork displayed at the children's art show.
This was all very fun and exciting. However, I found myself having some very interesting conversations. Here were a few:
Student: Are there sharks in the lake?
Me: Um, no friend, sharks live in the ocean, not lakes.
Student: I put two socks on one foot today.
Me: So one of your feet has two socks, and the other has no socks?
Student: I dropped my sandwich in the dirt.
Me: Five second rule!- Just eat it, you'll be fine.
Student: Mrs. P!!! Mrs. P!!! Mrs. P!!!! What are those people doing in that car!?!?!
Me: Um, close your eyes, look the other way! Now!
(Yikes! It was 11:30 in the morning people!)
Now, please tell me... is it just me, or do you have random conversations throughout the day too???
Have a GREAT weekend!!!
